A Hidden Gem for Authentic Chinese Food in Berlin Mayflower has become one of my go-to spots in the neighborhood, especially since it’s just around the corner from our apartment. I’ve been here before with my girlfriend and we’ve always enjoyed it, but today I stopped by alone for a quick lunch — and it didn’t disappoint. I went for the daytime menu and chose M8: stir-fried beef with homemade black peppercorn sauce, served with mixed peppers, onion, and Chinese cabbage. The portion was just right, the flavor was bold and a bit spicy (in a good way), and everything tasted really fresh. It came with a warm soup as an appetizer, and I added a ginger tea to complete the meal — which was both soothing and a perfect match. The service was super quick and efficient, which made it ideal for a lunch break. I definitely recommend Mayflower if you're in Berlin and looking for truly authentic Chinese cuisine. Great value, great taste, and a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious lunch spot in PBerg! I visited Mayflower with my girlfriend for a quick lunch while working from home, and we were really impressed. I had the homemade noodles, which were fresh, perfectly chewy, and full of flavor — you can really tell they’re made in-house. My girlfriend ordered the baked beef in Chinese BBQ sauce with rice, and it was just as good — tender meat with a rich, savory sauce that was beautifully balanced. The restaurant has a relaxed and cozy vibe, perfect for a lunch break or casual dinner. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a calm, inviting atmosphere that made us want to linger a bit longer than planned. Definitely a great find in Prenzlauer Berg — we’ll be coming back soon to try more of the menu!

Great food, lovely vibe, and generous portions! I visited Mayflower with my girlfriend on a Friday evening, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant is conveniently located close to where we live, and we were lucky to get a seat outside on a sunny day – the weather and setting made it just perfect. The vibe was lively and relaxed, with most tables full, which added to the good energy of the place. We ordered a mix of dishes: Dimsum, Gongbao Chicken, Chairman’s Mapo Pork Belly, ginger tea, and beer. Every single dish was absolutely delicious, with generous portions. They even gave us extra rice at no additional cost, which was a really nice touch. I’m definitely planning to come back again – next time I’ll try the House noodles from their lunch menu! Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys authentic, flavorful Chinese food in a welcoming atmosphere.
